He was predeceased by: his parents, Theodore Patterson and Kathleen Frederick Patterson; his wife Colena Coleman Patterson; his siblings, Nathan Patterson, David Patterson, Daniel Patterson and Becky Ponder; and his brother-in-law Mike Ponder.
He is survived by: his brothers, Mark (Ann Patterson) and James Patterson of Greensburg; his sisters-in-law, Cathy Patterson of Summersville, Connie Patterson of Campbellsville and Debra Patterson of Greensburg; his stepdaughters, Gina Kennedy of Campbellsville and Shell Kennedy of Campbellsville; his stepgrandchildren, Lance DeBouse, Aniya Haire of Radcliff, Marissa DeBouse, Caiden Durrett of Greensburg, Colen, Andrea Ervin of Campbellsville and Nyla Beard of Campbellsville; and his close friend Angela Patterson of Campbellsville. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 from 7:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Cowherd & Parrott Funeral Home (206 S Main St, Greensburg, KY 42743). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 at the Patterson Family Cemetery.
The family has requested that expressions of sympathy take form of donation to the Patterson Family Cemetery Fund, which can be made at the funeral home.
