She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Dabney Gills and Martha Rachel Phelps Gills; her husband Paul Wesley Phillips, Jr.; and her siblings, Marie Garcia, Thelma DeLeon and Thomas Stanley Gills.
She is survived by: her children, Rachel (Kelly Helms), Tina (Daniel Smith) and Paul Wesley Phillips, III of Indiana; and her sisters, Mary Painter of Illinois and Brenda Santoes of Illinois. She is also survived by five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren.
