She was predeceased by: her parents, Amos Kessler and Margarite Lile Kessler; her sister Becky Bell; and her siblings-in-law, Joann VanArsdale, Era VanArsdale and Wayne Wright.
She is survived by: her husband Ray Thomas "Tommy" VanArsdale of Greensburg; her daughter Laura Crickett; her son-in-law Mel Smith of Greensburg; her grandchildren, Paul Thomas (Audrie Smith) and Sydney Smith of Greensburg; her great grandchild Xavier Logan Smith of Richmond; her siblings-in-law, Robert VanArsdale of Greensburg and Rhonda Wright of Greensburg; and her close friends, Nikki Curry, Connie Huston and Sue Palmer. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, January 9th 2025 from 7:00 AM to 11:00 PM at the Greensburg Cumberland Presbyterian Church (698 Old Hodgenville Rd, Greensburg, KY 42743). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 at the Greasy Creek Cemetery.
The family has requested that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the Greasy Creek Cemetery which can be made at the funeral home.
