She was predeceased by: her parents, Cecil Trowbridge and Ethel Mae Curry Trowbridge; and her husband William Edward Sloan. She is survived by: her son William Michael; her daughter-in-law Patricia A. Sloan of Westview, Kentucky; her daughter Shirley Ann Sloan of Greensburg; her grandchildren, Lisa Austin of Louisville, Stephanie Raymer of Louisville, Michael Sloan of Louisville, Nora Canon of Calvert City and Tammy Lancaster of Greensburg; and her sisters, Virginia McCubbins of Summersville and Dorothy Coomer of Jamestown. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.

The family has asked that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the Macedonia Cemetery Fund, which can be made at the funeral home.
