He is survived by: his wife Patricia Ann Hammond Underwood of Green County; his son Jerry; his daughter-in-law Jana Underwood of Louisville; his daughter Susan; his son-in-law Don Elder of Louisville; his stepchildren, Lisa Britt of Louisville, David Britt of Louisville and Ronald Britt of Mt. Sherman; his grandchildren, Stephanie Owens of Louisville, Kyle Underwood of Louisville and Kelsey Brown of Louisville; his great grandchild Brigid Underwood of Louisville; and his stepgrandson Andrew Britt of Louisville. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
