He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Pruitt and Josie Berry Pruitt; his wife Connie Sue McKinney Pruitt; his siblings, Billy Pruitt, Jimmy Pruitt, Ruth Ann Pruitt, Beatrice Cox and Betty Dunham; and his siblings-in-law, Harold Goldsmith, Howard Dunham, Delane "Bimbo" Cox, Carolyn Pruitt, Bonnie Pruitt and Phyllis Pruitt.
He is survived by: his siblings, William Pruitt of Campbellsville, Roy (Zelda Pruitt) and Patricia Goldsmith; and his pet Cave. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
