We are sad to announce that on May 11, 2023, at the age of 68, Joseph Stephen Durrett (Greensburg, Kentucky), born in Louisville, Kentucky passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Rev. Ancil "Bug" Durrett and Wilma Hall Durrett; his former wife Tammy Larimore Durrett; and his siblings, Donnie Durrett, Troy Durrett and Sharon Bishop.

He is survived by: his wife Stella Curry Durrett of Green County; his daughter Andrea; his son-in-law Ashley Shuffett of Greensburg; his son Stephen Blake; his daughter-in-law Whitney Durrett of Hodgenville; his stepchildren, Cecile, Kyle Bloyd of Greensburg and Josh Wright (Deidra) of Elizabethtown; his grandchildren, Corbin Shuffett of Greensburg, Mollie Shuffett of Greensburg, Edison Durrett of Hodgenville, Ren Durrett of Hodgenville, Kynslee Bloyd of Greensburg, Kree Bloyd of Greensburg and Kaden Bloyd of Greensburg; his brother Mike; and his siblings-in-law, Judy Durrett of Summersville, Ronnie Bishop of Greensburg and Marla Durrett of Greensburg. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

The family has asked that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the Gideon Bible Fund or the Wilson Cemetery which can be made at the funeral home.
