He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Milby and Irene Wilcoxson Milby; his wife Mary Margaret Hinton Milby; his son-in-law Dr. Joseph "Joe" Miller; and his siblings, Nancy Carol Yates and Bruce Milby.
He is survived by: his children, Joan Ellen Miller of Campbellsville and Kevin Milby; his daughter-in-law Megan of Danville; his grandchildren, Beth Pike (Dustin), Natasha Milby (Alyssa), John David Pickett of Campbellsville and Trae Pickett of Elizabethtown; his great grandchildren, Keightley Pickett, Fairington Pickett and Luna Pike; his brother Roy Wayne Milby; and his sister-in-law Mary of Tennessee.
The family has requested that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the Greensburg Cumberland Presbyterian Crossroads Youth Program or the Gideon Bible Fund which can be made at the funeral home.
