We are sad to announce that on January 7, 2021, at the age of 85, Joe Bridgewater (Greensburg, Kentucky) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Otto Bridgewater and Selestine Anderson Bridgewater; his sons, Robert Lee Bridgewater and David Alexander Bridgewater; and his siblings, Queen Bridgewater, Nora Wicker, Gertrude Powell, Omelia Thorton, Faye Mitchell, Ed Bridgewater and Amos Bridgewater.

He is survived by: his wife Dean Bridgewater; his sister Ernestine Martin; and his sons, Melvin Mitchell, Amos Bridgewater, James Bridgewater (Lisa Bridgewater) and Calvin Lee Bridgewater (Stacey Bridgewater). He is also survived by eighteen grandchildren, thirty-five great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren, plus a host of other relatives and friends.
