He was predeceased by: his father James William; and his daughter Megan Fern Coakley. He is survived by: his wife Linda Susan Braun Coakley of Tennessee; his son Chase; his daughter-in-law Jennifer Coakley of Cookeville, Tennessee; his daughter Jamie Lei Coakley of Clinton, Tennessee; and his grandchildren, Easten Coakley of Cookeville, Tennessee and Emery Coakley of Cookeville, Tennessee.
The family has requested that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the Green County Historical Society, the James William Coakley II Scholarship Fund, or the Coakley Family Cemetery Fund which can be made at the funeral home.
