He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Henry Lee Durham and Ruth Vance Durham; his grandparents, Judge James Lucien Durham (Jenny Lee Woodward) and Leslie Milton Vance (Martha Roseanna McCubbin); his sister Martha Durham; his wife Henrietta Hill Durham; his children, Robert Hill Durham (Eva), Brenda Lee Bushey (Martin) and Elizabeth Ruth Horde (Rocky); his grandsons, Gaither Wilson Horde IV, D. "Hunter", Rory Durham Horde, James Edmund Bushey and Robbie Alban Durham; his brother Henry Coleman Durham (Jo Carol); his nieces and nephews, Martha Schweitz (Eric) and Thomas Durham (Cathi); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Carolyn, Elizabeth, Diana Schweitz, William and Nathaniel Durham; his sister-in-law Mayme Brent Emrick; his nephews, Chuck and Jim Emrick; his great-niece Bailey Emrick; and also, Barbara York and Greensburg.
Additional family members are his sister-in-law, Mayme Brent Emrick, her sons, Chuck and Jim Emrick, and great-niece Bailey Emrick. Due to Covid-19, a private graveside service was held at the Greensburg Cemetery for the family.
The family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the Greensburg United Methodist Church.
