She was predeceased by: her parent Jessie James Atwell; her husband James H. Stanberry; her son-in-law A. D. Hawthorne; her grandchildren, William Santee Stanbery and Kaitlyn Lashale Stanbery; her sister Mary Elizabeth Austin; and her brother-in-law David Heith.
She is survived by: her children, James H. Stanbery (Collette) of Winston Salem, Dwayne Eugene Stanbery (Bonnie) of Greensburg and Patsy Brammer (Marty) of Greensburg; her siblings, Cleveland (Polly Atwell) and Myrtle Fay Heith of Virginia; her grandchildren, Dennis Hawthorne (Laura) of Georgia, Susan Gephart (Gerard) of Louisville, Timothy Hawthorne (Renee) of Greensburg and Eddie Brammer (Amanda) of Bardstown; and her great grandchildren, Kaleigh Hooper (Brady), Jake Hawthorne (Huda), Zachary, Ryan Gephart, Devon, Khloe Chaulklin, Cheyenne, Drake Brammer and Maddie McQueen. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
The family has requested that expressions of sympathy be donations to St. Jude Children's Hospital or to the Bethlehem Cemetery Fund.
