It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Herbert Lester Wright of Greensburg, Kentucky, who passed away on February 8, 2023, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles B. Wright and Mamie Ethel Wright (Wright); his son Christopher Wright; and his siblings, Irene Loyall, Robert Sylvester Wright and Randall Lee Wright.
He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Lou Houk Wright of Greensburg; his son Tommy; his daughter-in-law Darlene Wright of Greensburg; his daughter Kimberly; his son-in-law Chad Sweet of Elizabethtown; his daughter Michelle Sego of Elizabethtown; his grandchildren, Bonetta Wright-Sweet (Michael Arseneault) of Bowling Green, Laura Wright of Lexington, Jason Wright of Greensburg and Trey Sweet of Elizabethtown; and his great grandchildren, Orion Arseneault of Bowling Green and Kailen Arseneault of Bowling Green. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
The family has asked that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the Kentucky Organ. Donation Affiliates or Hosparus of Green River, which can be made at the funeral home.
