He was predeceased by: his parents, Lucian A. Simpson and Alice Evelyn Gardner Simpson; and his siblings, Jim Simpson, Bob Simpson, Florence Wyatt, Dilma Harrison, Joyce Akin and Shirley Long.
He is survived by: his wife Wilda Raney Simpson; his children, Jeffery Dean Simpson of Greensburg and Tammera D. Vail of Greensburg; his grandchildren, Matthew Vail (Maria), Nikki Crooks (Matt) and Justin Simpson (Sara) of Indiana; his great grandchildren, Ethan Vail of Indiana, Dylan Vail of Indiana, Emery Crooks of Indiana and Colton Crooks of Indiana; and his brothers, Wayne (Janie Simpson) and Junior (Lydia Simpson). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
The family has requested that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to Hosparus of Green River or Judd Cemetery Fund which can be made at the funeral home.
