With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Geraldine Baker Whitlock of Greensburg, Kentucky, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 3, 2024 at the age of 95. She was predeceased by: her parents, Demmon Reed Baker and Genevieve Pyle Baker; her spouse Voris Whitlock; and her brothers, Garnett Baker, Douglas Baker and Wilburn Baker.
She is survived by: her daughter Beverly; her son-in-law Mike Creek of Bowling Green; her son Rodney; her daughter-in-law Cheryl Whitlock of Campbellsville; her granddaughter Angie Alexander (Scotty) of Bowling Green; her great grandchild Landon Alexander of Bowling Green; her siblings, June Bailey White, Marine (DJ Moore) and Marion; her sister-in-law Karen Baker of Colorado; and her close friends, Becky Dixon, Maragret Houk and Paula Curry. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 8th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Cowherd & Parrott Funeral Home (206 S Main St, Greensburg, KY 42743). A funeral service was held on Sunday, December 8th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Sunday, December 8th 2024 at the Greasy Creek Cemetery.
The family has requested that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the Greasy Creek Cemetery Fund which can be made at the funeral home.
