It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of George Salem Jones (Greensburg, Kentucky), born in Washington, District of Columbia, who passed away on January 13, 2023, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William F. Jones and Joan Turran Jones; and his grandson Dallas Jones. He is survived by: his wife Garnetta Pearl Cox Jones of Green County; his sons, George Christopher Jones of Green County and William W. (Betty Jones); his grandchildren, Dakota Jones of Green County, William Jones, II of Florida, Amber Jones of Florida and Amanda Jones of Florida; his great grandchildren, Willow Jones of Florida and William Jones, III of Florida; and his brother William Jones of Colorado. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.

He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Sure Foundation Baptist Church.
