He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Nurnberg and Louise Apple Nurnberg; and his daughter Tonya Carlson. He is survived by: his wife Judith Lorene Lobb Nurnberg of Greensburg; his son Robert Dean; his daughter-in-law Michelle Nurnberg of Georgia; his daughters, Michelle (William Middleton) and Kara Leigh Freck of Florida; his grandchildren, Dean Nurnberg, Brad Nurnberg, Nick Nurnberg, Jacob Carlson, Emily Carlson, William Middleton, Laura Middleton, Tommy Freck, David Freck, Jason Freck and Michael Freck; and his siblings, Ruth Pendergraft of Missouri and Dale Nurnberg of Nebraska. He is also survived by other relatives and many friends.
The family has asked that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the Greasy Creek Cemetery Fund which can be made at the funeral home or the church.
