She was predeceased by: her parents, David Cox and Norma Osborne Cox; her daughter Anne Upton Durham; and her siblings, Crawford Cox, Mildred Coffey, Dorothy Givens, Nellie Downey, Ramona Livesay, Sally Shuffett and Mary Cox.
She is survived by: her husband Harold Leon Upton; her son Jerry Upton of Greensburg; her son-in-law Eddie Durham of Greensburg; her grandchildren, Harrison Lee Durham, Ashleigh Durham of Greensburg, Sara Elizabeth "Lizi" and Corey Witcher of Greensburg; her great grandchildren, Maddox, Maryn Durham, Clay, Elin, Mila and Tate Witcher; and her sisters, Barbara Givens of Greensburg and Ella May of Bowling Green. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
The family has asked that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the Ebenezer Presbyterian Church, Greensburg Art Council, or charity of choice.
