It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Erna Wheat Dobson Sidebottom of Greensburg, Kentucky, born in Menard, Illinois, who passed away on November 29, 2022, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Edward Dobson and Hattie Emma Perkins Dobson; her husband Harold Lewis Sidebottom; and her brother William Buckner Dobson. She is survived by: her son Don; her daughter-in-law Nancy Sidebottom of Greensburg; her daughter Connie; her son-in-law Bill Collins of Campbellsville; her grandchildren, Scott Collins of Ohio, Shea White and Spencer (Rebekah Sidebottom); her great grandchildren, Collin White, Savannah White, Zoie Sidebottom, Jaxon Sidebottom and Brody Sidebottom; her sisters, Katherine Smith of Illinois and Mabel Marten of Virginia; her siblings-in-law, Jim, Ona Sidebottom and Sylvia Sidebottom; and her pet Little Man. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
The family has asked that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to Hosparus of Green River or the Gideon Bible Fund, which can be made through the funeral home.
