With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Doug Pickett of Greensburg, Kentucky, who passed away on November 30, 2023 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ewell Hollan Pickett Sr. and Anna Mae Twyman; his wife Ada Lou Bardin Pickett; and his brothers, Hollan Pickett Jr. (Sonny) and Jack Oliver Pickett.
He is survived by: his children, Millie Pickett of Greensburg and Brad; his daughter-in-law Vicki Pickett of Callahan, Florida.; his grandchildren, Sabrina Sebastian (David McCormack), Summer Sebastian (Brooke Shaw), Brad Pickett Jr. and Chad Pickett (Stacy Pickett); his great grandchildren, Elise McCormack, Kellen McCormack, Lincoln Shaw, Raeleigh Pickett and Ryker James Pickett; his sisters, Betty Lou Cook of Greensburg and Anita Brown of Elizabethtown; and his siblings-in-law, Gayle Bardin Hines of Danville, Beverly Bardin Gaddie of Russellville, Janet White Pickett, Betty Bardin Milby of Greensburg and Cotton Bardin of Greensburg.
The family has requested that expressions of sympathy be donations to the Greensburg United Methodist Church.
