He was predeceased by: his parents, Duluth Odell Houk and Mildred Geneva Houk; and his brothers, Mike Houk and Jackie Houk. He is survived by: his wife Rose Rita Rogers Houk of Greensburg; his son Timothy Odell; his daughter-in-law Deanna Houk of Horse Cave; his grandchildren, Kaula Terry of North Carolina, Aspen Eimen of Horse Cave, David Jacoby of Nashville and Jeffrey Kennedy of Georgia; his great grandchildren, DaeDae, Aiden, Jacob, Amber, Kadence, Jaxton, Colton, Fallon, Lola and Wyatt; his sister Christie; and his brother-in-law John Shofner of Campbellsville. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
The family has asked that expressions of sympathy take form of donations to the Kosair for Kids of Louisville, which can be made at the funeral home.
