He was predeceased by: his parents, Norby Hale and Iva Ree Fox; his wife Gloria Ann Hale; his daughter Teresa Moore; his granddaughter Jessica Ann Hamilton; and his siblings, Suzanne Esapenko and Phillip Hale.
He is survived by: his children, David Hale Jr. (Teresa) and Cynthia Sundin (Gary); his grandson Jason Hale (Deanna); his great grandchildren, Haley Hamilton, Jadon Hale and Jaxon Hale; and his sisters-in-law, Irene Hale and Gayle Fish. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
