He is survived by: his son David Sydney; his daughter-in-law Lindsay Smith of Tacoma; and his siblings, Carol Fryman of Greensburg, Linda Sexton of Dayton, Ralph Smith Jr. of San Antonio and Gary E. Smith of Dayton Ohio.
