He was predeceased by: his parents, Grady Owen Milby and Esther White Milby; and his siblings, Russell E. Milby, Kenneth Milby, Terry Gordon Milby, Bonnie Strader, Margaret Penick and Geneva Penick.
He is survived by: his sister-in-law Inflice Milby of Greensburg. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, friends.

The family has asked that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the Gideon Bible Fund, or the Beech Grove Baptist Church Building Fund, which can be made at the funeral home.
