He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Norman Suratt and Mattie Jewell Wright Suratt; and his sister Margaret Dudley. He is survived by: his wife Pamela Rose Milby Suratt of Nelson County; his son Michael; his daughter-in-law Charlotte Suratt of Greensburg; his daughter Amanda Nicole; his son-in-law Greg Johnson of Bardstown; his grandchildren, Hilary Fox (Jon) of Greensburg, Austin Hahn (Courtney) of Bardstown, Kimberly Breeding of Bardstown, Katlin Johnson of Bardstown, Lyndsey Shuffett (Ryan) of Greensburg, Travis McCubbins (Kacey) of Greensburg, Brooklyn Begley of Campbellsville, Nicholas Johnson of Alabama and Mitchell Johnson of Alabama; and his siblings, Roy Suratt of Greensburg, Granville Suratt of Smith Grove and Joyce Nunn of Indiana. He is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild.
The family has asked that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to Kosair Charities, which can be made at the funeral home.
