He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Wayne Lile and Ida Pearle Oakes Lile; his daughter Judy Childers; his daughter-in-law Pat Lile; and his siblings, Floyd Lile, Marge Kessler, Edith Squires and Clydene Bagby.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Sue Reece Lile of Greensburg; his children, Terry Lile of Campbellsville and Mandy; his sons-in-law, Mike Cox of Greensburg and Kenneth "Ken" Childers of Edmonton; his grandchildren, Melody (Brian Baker) of Greensburg, Michelle (Barry Dobson) of Greensburg, Samantha (Luke Buckman) of Greensburg, Reece (Katelyn Cox) of Greensburg and Briley Cox of Greensburg; his great grandchildren, Brett, Chelsea Dobson, Aidan Grindle and Isaac Grindle; his sister Ann; his brother-in-law Tom Mahoney of Elizabethtown; his daughter Kim Johnson of Greensburg; and his grandchildren, Trey and Hayden Walsh. He is also survived by other relatives and many friends.
The family has asked that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the Gideon Bible Fund or WHAS Crusade for Children, which can be made at the funeral home.
