She was predeceased by: her parent Ras; her husband J. W. "Bill" Edwards; her son Robert Edwards; her parents-in-law, Maxine and Woodrow Edwards; and her brother Terell Ingram.
She is survived by: her children, Beverly, Dave Shuffett of Greensburg, Bill, Ann Edwards of Campbellsville, John, Robyn Edwards of Buffalo, Mary Beth and Joel Mobley of Oxford, Mississippi; her grandchildren, Laura Edwards, Rebecca, Matthew Wright, Austin Reliford, Courtney Edwards, Logan Edwards, Max Mobley, Alex Mobley and Lashonda Darnell; her great grandchildren, Weston Wright, Carter Wright, Lyla Martin and Collins Edwards; her siblings, Pam (Don Taylor), Debbie (Duane Polston), Mary Shuman Spalding, Sharon Akemon, Brenda Shuman (Frances Shuman Craig) and Blair Shuman; and her daughter-in-law Vicki Edwards. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
