She was predeceased by: her parents, Omer K. Shain and Ursa Marie Shain; her aunt Dorothy Townsend; and her cousin Louise Townsend. She is survived by: her husband Hans G. Poppe, Sr. of Greensburg, KY; her son Hans G. Poppe, Jr. (Jeri) of Prospect, KY; her granddaughter Téa Poppe of Prospect, KY; and her nephew Billy Townsend of Louisville.
In lieu of flowers, we ask instead that you consider a donation to the food banks or missionary funds for New Journey and New River or, if you prefer, simply do something nice for somebody else unexpectedly, and without explanation. In remembrance of her life-long dedication to Christ and charity, please include prayers for world peace and for the homeless in your daily prayers.
