She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Buchanan and Evelyn Cheuvront Buchanan; her husband Russell Wilson Lowe; and her brothers, Bob Buchanan and Tom Buchanan.
She is survived by: her son Billy Joe; her daughter-in-law Becky Lowe of Greensburg; her daughters, Beverly (Bill Hayes) and Jan Lowe (Bruce Ponzo); her sister Jane Roution of Campbellsville; her sister-in-law Betty B. Lowe of Greensburg; and her grandchildren, April Parris, Jon Lowe, Quinn Lowe, Chris Lowe, JoAnne Beard, Colin Hayes and Loren Hayes. She is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
The family has asked that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the Russell and Betty G. Lowe U.K. Agricultural Library Fund, which can be made at the funeral home.
