She was predeceased by: her parents, James Grover Givens and Eunice Hays Givens; her husband Roy Lawrence Shuffett; and her grandchildren, Shannon Shuffett Edwards and Kristopher Thompson.
She is survived by: her sons, Donald Dean (Bonnie Shuffett) and Stanley (Karen Shuffett); her grandchildren, Ashley Shuffett (Andi) of Greensburg, Luke Shuffett (Kristy) of Greensburg, Jon Shuffett of Pennsylvania, Shana Osborne of Greensburg and Emily Thompson of Summersville; her great grandchildren, Christen, Tyler, Corbin, Madison, Mollie, Skylar, Rhianna, Jacklinn and Khyleigh; and her sister-in-law Barbara Givens of Greensburg. She is also survived by three great-great-grandchildren.
The family has asked that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to Hosparus of Green River, which can be made at the funeral home.
