She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Edward Mays and Lydia Margaret Wright Mays; her son Daniel Webster Vanarsdall; her daughter-in-law Patty Vanarsdall; her grandchildren, Erica Rose Montgomery and Cody James Pierce; and her siblings, Irene Milby, Cloudus Mays, Cecil Mays, Harris Mays, Louvera Wright, Claudine Bonta, Thelma Mays and Dalma Mays.
She is survived by: her children, Gayle (Junior Antle), Dellena J. (William Bishop), Devonna L. (Darrell Hensley), David R. Vanarsdall of Greensburg and Dillard H. (Janet Vanarsdall); her daughter-in-law Beverly Vanarsdall Knight of Greensburg; her sister Nona Faye Simpson of Greensburg; and her niece Lela Martin of Greensburg. She is also survived by great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, other relatives, and friends.
The family has requested that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the Oak Grove Cemetery Fund and the Judd Cemetery Fund which can be made at the funeral home.
