He was predeceased by: his parents, Martin G. Clay and Mollie Conley Clay; and his son Steve Clay. He is survived by: his wife Erlene LeMaster Clay; his son Roy Clay (Reva) of Grayson; his sister Marilyn Hyde of Sheffield, AL; his daughter-in-law Rene Clay of Grayson; and his grandchildren, Mark Clay (Jessica), Lauren Clay, Tyler Clay (Lexie) and Troy Clay. He is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
