He was predeceased by: his parents, Wince McGinnis and Rosie Arthur McGinnis; his wife Mary Lynn McGinnis; and his siblings, Vinton L. McGinnis and Senia Lou Johnson.
He is survived by: his son William McGinnis of California; and his brother Oscar McGinnis (Sheree) of Grayson, Kentucky.
