It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Virgie Flannery (Grayson, Kentucky), who passed away on February 4, 2019, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husbands, Claude Blanton and John Flannery; her stepsons, Kenneth Flannery, Cecil Flannery and Leonard Blanton; and her sisters, Doris Clark, Virginia Caldwell Lucas, Madonna Wilburn and Ruby Marshall.
She is survived by: her stepchildren, David Flannery (Marsha) of Flatwoods, Lucille Sallie of Rush and Helen Hemelgarn of Michigan; her sister Sarah Blanton of Grayson; and her nephew David Blanton (Katherine) of Grayson.
