He is survived by: his wife Myrtle McGinnis; his son David McGinnis (Angela) of Salt Lick, Kentucky; his granddaughter Ashley Grontkowski; his great grandchild Avery Grace Grontkowski; and his brothers, William McGinnis of Grayson, Kentucky and Oscar McGinnis (Sheree) of Grayson, Kentucky.
