With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Sue Pope Wellman of Grayson, Kentucky, born in Fultz, Kentucky, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 5, 2024 at the age of 82. She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Pope and Faye Littleton Pope; her husband Harold Wellman; her son Luke Wellman; her siblings, Nancy Carroll and Tom Pope; and her grandsons, Aaron and Nathan Gallion.
She is survived by: her children, Erica Gallion, Janie Flaugher and Jeff Wellman; her brother Tony Pope (Bee); her stepbrother Rodrick Burnett of Grayson; and her grandchildren, Ashley Gallion of Grayson, Brittney Miller (Ryan) of Lexington, KY, Travis Wellman, J. T. Wellman, Evan Wellman (Abby), Johnny Tackett, Matthew Kouns and Kaylee Kouns. She is also survived by many great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
