It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Sarah Elizabeth Blanton of Grayson, Kentucky, who passed away on January 10, 2025, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Dave Moore and Alice Moore Moore; her husband Leonard Blanton; her grandson David Wesley Blanton; and her sisters, Madonna Wilburn, Virginia Caldwell, Doris Clark, Virgie Flannery, Ruby Marshall and Juanita Wilburn.
She is survived by: her son David Blanton (Katherine) of Grayson, KY; and her grandchildren, Amanda Willis (Adam) of Garrison, KY, Amy Felty (Mason) of Rush, KY and Max Blanton of Morehead, KY. She is also survived by fourteen great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the Sparks Funeral Home (203 W Main St, Grayson, KY 41143). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
