She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy McDowell and Dorothy White McDowell; her husband Paul "Slim" Burchett; her son-in-law Chester Gumm; and her brothers, Allen and Dewey McDowell.
She is survived by: her children, Paul Sherman Burchett (Tami) of Grayson, Ricky Lee Burchett of Fleming County, KY, William Ford Burchett (Tammy) of Grayson, David Moore (Stephanie) of Ohio, Marsha Gilbert (Scott) of Grayson, Sabra Gumm of Grayson and Susan Rena Nunley of Grayson; and her siblings, Diane Duncan of Olive Hill, Ella Duncan of Grahn, Denise Orcutt of Olive Hill and Johnny McDowell of Olive Hill. She is also survived by 43 grandchildren and 41 great grandchildren.
