He was predeceased by: his parents, Clayton Burnett and Mary Louise James Burnett; his brother Steve Burnett; and his niece Alison Burnett. He is survived by: his stepbrother Tony Pope of Grayson; and his nieces, Carey Boggess (Chris) of Georgetown, Kentucky, Amy Williams (Robert) of Ashland, Kentucky, Melissa Salyers of Bucyrus, Ohio and Ashley Gallion.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM. A graveside service was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the East Carter County Memory Gardens (1296 E Main St, Grayson, KY 41143).
