He was predeceased by: his parents, James A. Boggs and Hattie Sizemore Boggs; and his siblings, Arlie Boggs, Roger Boggs, Jack Boggs, Janice Boggs, Phyllis Boggs-Steele and Mildred Boggs-Williams.
He is survived by: his wife Jacqueline Slone Boggs; his children, Melanie Scott (Bryan) of Grayson, Miranda Stamm (Mark) of Lexington, KY, Sydney Lawson (Kerrick) of Louisville, KY, Courtney Bush (Barrett) of Grayson, Ryan Tussey (Miranda) of Grayson and Kegan Tussey (Hannah) of Grayson; and his sister Brenda Boggs Marshall of Gainesville, FL. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren whom were the love of his life.
