He is survived by: his wife Shelby Jean Fyffe Butler; his daughters, Sandy Butler of Cold Spring, KY and Diana Peterson (Scott) of Troy, VA; his grandsons, Andrew Peterson and Austin Peterson; and his sisters, Phyllis Colleen May (Jim) of Fort Gay, WV and Joann Stumbo (Tim) of Grayson. He is also survived by several friends and extended family.
