She was predeceased by: her parents, Ray Buck and Katherine Hall Buck; her brother Raymond Fredrick Buck; and her grandson Johnny Fankell. She is survived by: her husband Elwood Fankell; her children, Tom Fankell (Rachel) of Grayson, Cathy Fankell of Lexington, KY and Glenna Wylie (Jay Paul) of Ashland, KY; her siblings, Clifford Buck (Janet) of Grayson, KY, James Buck of Grayson, KY and Karen Carpenter of Grayson, KY; her grandchildren, Tommy Fankell, Katie Beth Bias (Michael) and Chris Wylie (Molly); and her great grandchildren, Hayden and Emily Bias.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 9:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Sparks Funeral Home (203 W Main St, Grayson, KY 41143).
