She was predeceased by: her parents, Martin Everett and Maude Jane Burton Hay; her brothers, Allard Eugene Hay, Earl Wayne Hay, William G Hayes, Delmus R Hayes, Martin Hayes Jr. (Alice), Leonard Hayes (Carolyn) and Bobby Joe Hayes; and her sister-in-law Frances Hayes.
She is survived by: her husband Oliver "Wayne" Stephens; her brother Henry "Kenneth" Hayes of Newark, OH; her sons, David Stephens (Sharon) of Vienna, WV, Darryl Stephens of Grayson, KY and Ryan Stephens (Tracy) of Independence, KY; her grandchildren, Cheyne (Allison), Zoe, Kianna and Jackson Stephens; and her great grandchildren, Caden and Kaylee Stephens.
