He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo Cornelius, Sr. and Nola Christian Ducote; his stepson Mark Anthony Shaffer; and his sister Delores Ann Duhon. He is survived by: his wife Linda Juanita Smoot Ducote; his daughter Brandy Huey (Sean) of Florida; and his grandsons, Brandon Scott Huey and James Allen Shaffer.
