He was predeceased by: his parents, Ed Sullivan and Faithie Burge Sullivan; and his siblings, Carl, Edward Gordon, Clyde Carlos, Roy "Peanut" Sullivan and Hazel Parson.

He is survived by: his wife Janet Brinegar Sullivan; his sons, Jamie Sullivan of Iron Hill, Micheal Sullivan of Iron Hill and Danny Sullivan of Iron Hill; his sisters, Maggie Greenhill of Olive Hill, KY and Betty Kiser of Olive Hill, KY; and his grandchildren, Clayton, Caleb, Makayla and Emma Sullivan.
