She was predeceased by: her mother Susan Perry Carter; and her grandparents, Sammie, Doy Terry Carter, Charles Perry and Ruth Vallance.
She is survived by: her father Samuel "Terry" Carter (Charlotte); her close friend Scott Broughton; her children, Taylor Geary (Aron Helton), Abagail Broughton, Gavin Broughton and Alex Broughton; her grandsons, Linden and Cooper; her siblings, Teressa Frazier (Shawn) of Atlanta, GA and David Carter (Melissa) of Grayson; her nephews, Eric Carter and Ryan Carter; her niece Haliegh Messer (Brandon); her aunt Nancy Perry; and also Jarrod Geary. She is also survived by friends and extended family.
