She was predeceased by: her parents, Marvin Hunnicutt and Beulah Kouns Hunnicutt; her husband Thomas E; her son Marvin Anthony "Tony" Kouns; and her sisters, Roberta Felty and Iona Hunnicutt.
She is survived by: her son J. P. Kouns (Pam); her grandchildren, Krista Kouns and Allison Welch (Preston); her great grandchildren, Chloe and Briniey Welch; and her sisters, Dreama Adams (Jim), Violet Carter (Robert) and Jackie Kitchen (Milan). She is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and other relatives.
