He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Junior and Earlene Blevins Roe; his wife Katie Moore Roe; and his brothers, Paul Wayne Roe and Carl Lee Roe.
He is survived by: his children, Randy Roe (Nicki) of Rush, KY and Robin Fite (Jeff) of Grayson, KY; his sister Mary Ester Middleton of Olive Hill, KY; and his grandchildren, Trevor Roe (Danielle), Matt Moore and Anna Fite Mullins (Eddie). He is also survived by four great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
