It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kathy Ellen Wofford of Grayson, Kentucky, born in Greenup, Kentucky, who passed away on December 19, 2022, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Burton Claxon and Magline Harlow Claxon; and her brothers, Steve, Donald, Clyde and Richard Claxon.
She is survived by: her sons, Woody Maddix (Rossi) of Grayson, KY and Charles Maddix (Ziad) of Jacksonville, FL; her siblings, Ronnie Claxon of Grayson, Eula Martin of Argillite, KY, Anna Dee Skaggs (Earl) of Grayson, KY, Tiny Martin of Grayson, KY, Nina Rogers (Clyde) of Grayson, KY, Alberta Claxon of Grayson, KY, Opal Withrow of Grayson, KY, Shelby Withrow of Grayson, KY and Libby Riffe of Grayson, KY; her grandchildren, Kelsey Berry (Brandon) and Channing Maddix (Ashley); and her great grandchildren, Liam Maddix, Kalen Maddix and Branson Berry.
