He was predeceased by: his parents, James Arthur Brown and Nellie Conley Brown; his former wife Sharon Brown (Sherry); and his siblings, Eileen Lewis, Juanita Hudson, Kathryn Cameron-Smotherman and Henry Brown.
He is survived by: his wife Opal Caskey Brown; his daughter Sharon Raburn (Doug); his stepchildren, Ben, Gary, Homer Caskey and Mary Seagraves; and his mother-in-law Elva Caskey. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, two great-grandchildren.
